Today, with the explosion of second-hand (Letgo, Dolap) sales on the internet or our habits of sending gift/local food boxes to our loved ones, we don't want to encounter "Surprise high tariffs" when we go to the branch.
Shipping Price Calculation Tools
allow you to see the shock you will experience at the counter of the logistics company in advance. Every shipping company has a "File/Document (between 0-1 KG) Base Shipping Fee" entered into the system. When you add a heavy dried fruit box or clothing package, a cumulative additional cost is added to this base price for each increasing KG (or Desi).
The Most Key Formula: Desi or Kilo?
The point where especially amateur e-commerce sellers lose the most is not knowing the "Desi (Volume)" logic. For example, let's say you put a huge giant gift teddy bear filled with fluffy cotton, which weighs only 1 Kilo, in a box. When the shipping company weighs it, it will be 1 Kilo, but it will occupy half of the car's trunk. Therefore, the company rule is clear:
"The Desi and Real Kilo of a shipment are checked, AND THE BILL IS ISSUED ACCORDING TO WHICH ONE OCCUPIES MORE SPACE or IS HEAVIER."
How to Calculate Desi Formula:
The Width (cm) × Length (cm) × Height (cm) of your package is multiplied and divided by the standard shipping constant of 3000.
(Example: a 40 × 30 × 20 cm box / 3000 = 8 Desi). However, if its internal weight is 2 Kg, the shipping company will charge you for 8 Desi (the higher one), not 2 KG.

Due to general state incentive, PTT Cargo is more affordable in price for standard individual shipments, but delivery times can take 4-5 days (due to branch density). Private companies are more expensive but can give a next-day delivery guarantee (VIP).
Our tool offers an average reference based on the 'List/Base prices' announced by shipping companies (excluding fuel updates) and default VAT/Postal Service Fee rates. Money added at the branch such as 'Insurance' and 'SMS Notification' can change the price.
Previous rules apply: The shipping company does not only look at the tiny volume (Desi) of the package. If it is carrying a 10 Kilo dumbbell when it puts it on the scale, it prices the shipping fee over that 10 Kilos.
It generally does not change as a communication/transportation cost. However, if the receiver does not accept the package (rejects/returns), the entire double invoice of that shipment's arrival-departure is billed to you (your branch) as the sender.
